On joining Snitem, member companies pledge to comply with the legislation and regulations in force by signing a charter. A Code of Ethics and Professional Practice Committee made up of manufacturers has been appointed in Snitem to ensure that the commitments set out in the charter are honoured.
The French National Association for Medical Technology Industries (Snitem) is the first trade association in the healthcare field to be AFAQ ISO 9001-certified (since May 2006), which expresses a keen desire to continuously improve the way it works, not only vis-à-vis its members but also with respect to its national and international environment.
