Accounting Generalist – F/H

Essential Missions and Responsibilities:

• Record all operations (excluding those specifically relating to purchase to pay and those subcontracted to the accounting firm) in line with accounting rules and internal procedures
• In charge of inventory accounting
• Responsible of fixed assets accounting & follow up
• Ensure that all accounting entries and account balances are properly justified and backed-up (especially for audit purpose)
• Design and implement controls to ensure accuracy and exhaustivity of accounting entries and financial statements
• Proactively deal with (and escalates as required) issues that might arise
• Contribute to maintaining a good level of internal control by respecting the applicable internal control framework (and making suggestions whenever necessary)
• Coach and support the Purchase to Pay Accounting Clerk
• Assist the Finance Operations Manager, as required

Additional skills/Background

• Solid accounting skills (accounting principles and practical implications)
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
• Strong technical and computer skills, especially Excel
• Reliable with strong attention to detail
• Good written and communication skills
• IFRS Expérience would be a plus
• English
• 3-5 years accounting experience preferred
• Accounting Degree (BTS “Brevet de Technicien Supérieur”, DCG) or related field
