Under the supervision of the Territory Manager, the International Business Developer will play a pivotal role, to develop sales, identifying partnerships with distributors across international markets and animate the activity of said distributors.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES?
- Market analyzis and strategy :
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential growth opportunities and trends in the targeted international market.
- Distributor Relationship Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential distributors based on established criteria.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, providing ongoing sales support, sales training, and ensure fluid communication.
- Collaborate with distributors to achieve sales targets and ensure effective market penetration.
- Business Expansion:
- In agreement with the Territory Manager, develop and execute plans to expand the company's presence in targeted international markets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, application, communication, marketing, down-stream and up-stream to align strategies and ensure the successful penetration of products on targeted international markets.
- Provide feedback on market trend and insights to the internal teams to guide marketing strategies for targeted markets.
- Sales and Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for distributor partners and monitor their performance against targets.
- In agreement with the Territory Manager, implement corrective actions as needed to ensure the achievement of sales goals.
- Product promotion and Key opinion leader management: Conduct technical product demonstrations to potential clients during customer meetings, trade shows and congress to showcase product capabilities. Support distributor with OR product usage onsite in the operative room or remotely.
Descriptif du profil
A proactive individual with a deep understanding of the medical devices industry, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in executing successful business strategies.
An interest for technical products, the hospital and healthcare environment.
An affinity to translate technical product features into compelling, real-world demonstrations.
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineer or related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in international business development within the medical devices industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing a market. Working experience with capital equipment is expected. Experience of working with strategies through distributors is appreciated.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel internationally or Grenoble as needed. Excepted 60% to 70% of work time travel.
- Perfect fluency in English is mandatory.
