Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. The Commercial Asset Manager is responsible for driving commercial and financial improvements across our Orthopaedics Loan & Consignment stocks (fleet) within France, Belgium and Netherlands. Initial efforts will focus on local process implementation in order to deliver plans to optimize how we use the assets to achieve sales & inventory targets and excellence in customer service.
What will you be doing:
- Track and supervise our infield stock utilization at a customer level to find opportunities for improvement and then put in place actions make these improvements together with the sales force
- Contribute to the annual incentive setting process
- Provide guidance to the supply chain team (S&OP) fleet asset and inventory requirements to realize commercial strategies (business win/losses) across Cluster/Country
- Implement, and manage a standardized process around asset and inventory fleet management. This includes forecasting fleet requirements, sales funnel management, reviewing and improving fleet productivity and setting & tracking important metric/targets
- Empower and educate Sales force to effectively communicate improvement initiatives to the customers
- Drive initiatives to increase fleet profitability and productivity of surgical systems
- Support customer account strategies with asset and inventory allocation
- Deliver service improvements (in regards to inventory management) to enhance customer satisfaction
Descriptif du profil
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Experience in local supply chain planning / S&OP processes
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is desirable
- Knowledge of orthopaedic product portfolio and associated procedures is a plus
- Strong analytical and people leadership skills
- Ability to drive team to complete strategies and deliver results
- Fluency in French and English, any other languages being a plus
